"Go to Disneyland!!!"

Ever since my first trip to HK Disneyland in July, I've been repeating this sentence to my parents each time we get in the car. But now we're back in Sydney so I'm very sad. I can't wait until the next trip back so that Gong-Gong can take me to Disneyland AGAIN! In the meantime, at least I have these photos to reminisce about my holiday...

Here I am trying to get Sophie to eat her baby biscuit. But she obviously doesn't want it!

Here I am on my first day of swimming lessons. Once we got to the pool, I couldn't wait to jump in!

See how much fun I'm having? (By the way, I keep repeating "Hi Jo-Jo!" which is what I call my Uncle Joseph who is filming me.)

HK offers so many classes for little kids, so I took classes 6 days a week! Here I am at MyGym.

Doing a little cheer with my pom pom.

Playing baseball(?) with my pom pom. I love school!

Sophie grew up so much during the 2.5 months we were away. Before we left she couldn't even sit up straight. Now she can sit up, crawl, pull herself into a standing position, and cruise along furniture!

Staying warm under the blanket together.

Beep beep! Sophie in the Dora car and me in the Big Red Car! So young and already behind the wheel...

The king and his princesses.

The royal family.

Sophie's having so much fun sitting on Daddy.

Cousins unite! With our cousins, Tyler and Talia.

Bathtime! Splashtime! I love bathing with my little sis.

Sophie is ready for the food. Bring it on!

Mah-Mah and Sophie baby.

BIG CUDDLE!

Gong-Gong and his ladies.

Gong-Gong and Poh-Poh with the princesses.

Auntie Steph is such a trooper. She got off the plane at 7am and we were at Disneyland by 11am! This is my second trip--I already went with Gong-Gong, Poh-Poh, Sophie, and Mommy but I left my photos in HK.

This really is the happiest place on earth. Mommy and Daddy look like such tourists, how embarassing!

Excited to start the Jungle Cruise!!

Holding onto Daddy for dear life. Even though I like elephants, I was still scared he was going to bite.

It's Simba, the Lion King!

Timon and Pumba!

What a great show. Bye bye, elephant!

Saying cheese with my buddy, Stitch.

Riding one of Cinderella's horsies! I did it all by myself!

Daddy had just as much fun as I did. :)

Mommy and me.

My first ride on Dumbo. I was so happy to get one with a green hat!

We're flying we're flying!!!

Daddy and his other princess.

Checking out the beautiful photos of myself that my Yi-Po took of me.

Yi-Po and Sophie having a cuddle.

So happy with Auntie Steph!

My friend Katie and me. She's half a year older but we're the same size. I think I weigh more though. Hee hee.

Auntie Nat took me to the zoo last Friday! Here I am posing with the koala. He's really tiny so you can barely see him sitting in the tree.

A quick shot with Ethan. He was more interested in his biscuits than the animals.

Here I am on some kind of reptile, which I kept telling my mom "It's a dinosaur!" I love dinosaurs.

Me and the giraffes.

Auntie Nat and little Ethan.

Like mother like daughter.

Maybe it's because they're tall and can enjoy it, but the giraffes are lucky to have the best view in the whole zoo. Look at that backdrop! That's prime real estate if you ask me!

Let's see more animals!

Posing with the kangaroos. More like posing with their bums.

Checking out the pigs in the farm area. Right after this photo the pig snorted really loudly and it freaked me out.

The zoo has the coolest kids playground and it was great to play with water on such a hot day.

Taking a break. I love the zoo!

Ethan refused to leave the water area and played until he was completely soaked!

Lights, camera, CONCERTS!

Wow a LOT has happened since I last updated. I have been crazy busy with growing, talking, and lots of outings. First, I moved into a new bed! Yep, I'm officially out of the crib and in a toddler bed. I'm also speaking in a lot of sentences now. "I do it myself" was the first whole sentence I learned a couple of months ago (and I still LOVE to say it since I want to do everything on my own), but now I can have a conversation quite well. Some of my favourite lines are:

"Mommy, where are you? Oh there you are!"
"Sophie, it's ok, no cry. Naomi here." (Mommy always says this but now I copy her and say it with my name instead.)
"Oh my gosh!"
"What are you doing?!" (but it sounds more like "Whayoudowee?!")
"Ew yuck. Ew gross!"

It was a special day in late April when Daddy and Mommy took me out in the morning...

and we saw The Wiggles again!!! I'm getting to be a regular with the concert crowd.

Here are The Wiggles "getting strong".

The entire gang--The Wiggles, Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, and Wags the Dog!

I was so into the music that I crowded up to the balcony area with some pushy boys to get a better view of the fab four.

After the Wiggles concert, we were running really late for lunch so Daddy took us to get some food fast (read: fast food). Yep, that's right, much to Mommy's dismay I had McDonald's for the first time! But it wasn't anything special for me, just something called a "hambigga".

Proof that I am Mommy's daughter.

I had another playdate with Jamie and Jet a few weeks ago. This is all of us "playing together." Which basically means we play in the same area but not necessarily with one another.

Jet is so little and I like to protect him.

Giving Jamie a hug from behind.

Check out my camera skills.

Sophie is such a happy baby and wakes up smiling 90% of the time. :)

Ready to take Mommy out to lunch.

Happy Mother's Day!

I'm in a sports class now and I love it even though I'm not a good listener. Here I am learning how to play hockey.

Proof that I'm the naughtiest one in the class. Mommy doesn't understand why I ignore authority. I think it's just part of being a kid!

Again, not listening. Hee hee.

Our family band--Daddy on guitar, me on drums, and Sophie is our backup dancer!

For my belated birthday gift, Auntie Nat and Uncle Brian bought us tickets to go see Yo Gabba Gabba (one of my fave shows) in concert. They came all the way from the US, wherever that is! Check out how cool they are below. Even my parents enjoy watching YGG as much as I do!

YOOOO.... GABBA GABBA!!!

Foofa, Muno, DJ Lance, Plex, Toodee, and Brobee!

Ready to rock out!

Another one of DJ Lance and the gang.

The Wiggles are great, but Yo Gabba Gabba rocks my socks!

The music is so contagious, I just can't stop dancing to it!

Shake shake shake shake shake shake!

There's a party in my tummy! So yummy so yummy! There's a party in my tummy!

And what did I think of Yo Gabba Gabba?

AWESOME!!!

A self-portrait. I love playing with Mommy's camera and snapping away at myself. Check out my luscious lips.

Here I am trying to smile for myself. Not flattering but Mommy thinks it's cute.

In playgroup another girl was wearing a Cinderella costume so I insisted on Snow White. Life doesn't get better than this, play-doh in my hands and all dolled-up!

A princess pose.

Sophie had her first taste of solids when she turned 6 months old last week. Look how tiny she looks in my highchair!

"What's this rubbery thing doing in my mouth?"

"Hmm... interesting texture, delectable taste..."

"More please!"

Last week my future school had an Open Day for parents and children to attend. It was basically just an intro to the school, the facilities, and the classrooms. Here I am dressed and ready to go!

Here I am with Mommy walking to the school. It was so fun exploring the different classrooms and seeing all the big kids in class. I can't wait until Kindergarten!

Wow... this will be me in 3 years!!!

Just before she turned 6 months, Sophie's first two teeth popped out!

A close-up of Sophie's pearly whites! She's growing up so quickly!
